Christ-exalting, authenticity and passion… this is the mission behind Jarryd Foreman and his music. Jarryd’s primary position as Worship Pastor at Community Life Church gives him the opportunity and the platform to declare the glory of God through song. “God has gifted me with the ability to praise Him through song, and to lead others to His throne. I’m honored and humbled to be such a small part of what God is accomplishing in His kingdom,” Jarryd says.

Jarryd came to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the age of eight after being exposed to the Gospel at a young age. But while most of his young life consisted of going to church and knowing that Christ was his Savior, he wasn’t completely aware of how to live his life for Him.

“As I grew older, situations and circumstances led to spiritually dry and dark times in my life. I was consumed with doing things my own way. I was traveling deep into sin. I had my own dreams and aspirations of how things should be and it all started to contribute to a distant relationship with the Lord.”

After graduating from Belmont University in May 2006 with a degree in music, Jarryd desired an illustrious career in the music business or professional golf; however, God continued to overwhelm his heart with His grace and mercy.

"He convicted me of the sin I was immersed in, which brought about repentance in my life as He reminded my soul of His unconditional love. After much prayer God revealed to me that I needed to surrender everything to Him, and He opened my eyes to His calling. I fully surrendered to the ministry, and gave up hopes and dreams that I had chased after for so long."

Jarryd’s most recent release “Grace and Peace” is an album that fully represents his heart as a follower of Christ and as an artist. “Everything within me wants people to hear these songs and see the beauty of salvation found only in Jesus Christ. He has saved me, rescued me and made me new. By far the best part of what I do is seeing people respond in worship to the Lord. There’s nothing greater in my mind than seeing the Spirit of God transform people’s hearts and minds and then seeing and hearing them respond! Every week I’m challenged to not only grow in my craft as a musician but as a leader and follower of Christ. Whether it's through student events, DNow's or weekly worship services, it’s truly my passion to bring honor and glory to Christ through a life consumed in worship and to encourage and lead others to have that same yearning.”

Jarryd currently resides in Forney, Texas with his wife Jessica and their two amazing children Liv and Landry.
