Nothing is more vital for our churches, our families, our spouses and the people we serve (and serve with) than for our hearts to be healthy. Here are four vital practices we must have in order to make sure our hearts are constantly chasing after God.Read More
Hey everyone, our family has some exciting news to share with all of you! Since starting the Austin Stone Worship Residency in September 2015, I knew the Lord would be calling me back into full-time ministry as a worship leader, we just weren’t sure where that would be. Through our time here we have really grown in love with the city of Austin and prayed for over a year that this would be where the Lord kept us.
Our prayers were answered in a huge way when the entire month of March I went through the process of being hired, and this past Saturday, April 1st was my first official day on staff as a Worship Leader at the Austin Stone!!
My primary role will be leading worship at both South and West campuses as well as leading out in building production and environment volunteers at both of these campuses. Plus, I get to continue to serve alongside the amazing leaders within Austin Stone Worship and play an even bigger role than before in songwriting, discipleship and building our team.
It goes without saying that Jess and I are both so excited that God would bless our family in this way! Not only with a full-time position, but with the opportunity to stay in Austin and at a church we love and call home. To look back over the past 2 years and see the Lord’s hand in EVERYTHING is just another testament to His faithfulness and grace. The residency at the Austin Stone has been one of the most enjoyable and fruitful seasons of my life and I’m so happy to be continuing the Lord’s calling by serving on staff.
For those of you who have labored alongside us in prayer, finances, encouragement and support we want to say THANK YOU! We absolutely could not have done this without you! Our biggest prayer has been that the glory of the Gospel would be evident in our lives as we stepped out in faith, and that it will continue to be so as the Lord lays out this new journey ahead of us.
We love you all and are so thankful for friends like you. If you ever want to come visit, you know where we’ll be! :)
What an incredible year it's been! We'd like to personally wish each of you a Merry Christmas and wanted to tell you again how thankful we are in how you have supported our family over the last few months. Whether that's through giving financially, praying or even words of encouragement, it has blessed our family more than you know!
